I haven't been doing much in the way of LJ/DW lately, because the "T" key on my laptop keyboard is FREAKING THE FUCK OUT and I pretty much can't type anything unless I'm okay with the text looking like a) his, where i doesn' conain he leer "" a all*, or b) thitstttttttt, ttwitthtttt t"tttt" tttttitnsetrtttttetttd EtVERttttttttttYWtHtEtttttRttEttttttttttttttttttttttt.**

It's limited my writing and commenting abilities just a wee bit, I have to say.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it's a physical problem with the keyboard. I've pried the key up, checked it for problems, cleaned out the key nub and the surrounding area, but it helped for only about a day before the whole thing started back up. Lately, it's just gotten worse, so I'm beginning to worry that there's something wrong with whatever circuitry is connected to that particular key. My computer works fine otherwise (for a PC, that is), so maybe a wireless keyboard, just to bypass the problem altogether? If all else fails I'll drag it in to Best Buy or something and have them look it over, but I'd like to avoid doing that for as long as possible, what with them being horrifyingly expensive and all. I backed up my entire system the other night, so at least I've got that going for me. Still, the whole thing is very annoying, and I'm counting down the days until I can replace Morton the PC with Morton the MAC. And, someday, Morton's Brother the Cheapie Desktop Clone Built Solely for the Purpose of PC Gaming Because Morton the Mac is for the Important Stuff.

Anyway. Everything else in my life is going well, although the cold from last week that has since turned into a sinus infection can fuck off and die. My face hurts, the pressure in my ears won't equalize, and I have no sense of smell. WHYYYYYY MEEEEEEEEEEE WHYYYYYYY. ~*~angsty sparkles!~*~ Actually, this is the first I've gotten sick all season, so it's really not that bad. I do miss my sense of smell, though. Food just isn't the same without it.

Other things! Nate and I are going to look at some more houses on Saturday, which is exciting. And class started up last week, and I think I did the right thing by signing up for a Sunday class. Getting up early on Sunday is a drag, but the class is small and the professor is pretty mellow, and it's nice not having to rush off to class immediately after work two days a week. That gets tiring after a while. Plus, this gives me the entire week to study at a leisurely pace, and I like that too. So far, it's working out!

I have also been reading books and watching movies/tv on Netflix at truly amazing pace, but thoughts on those things are for another entry, I think.
